What is bonding?

Bonding, in its simplest sense, is the process of bonding the composite filling material to the surface of the tooth.

​

In bonding application, the sound and healthy tissue of the tooth is generally left untouched. Thus, the dental tissue is preserved and you do not have to have irreversible procedures on your teeth just for aesthetic expectation.

​

Bonding application is an easier and affordable cosmetic application compared to other dental aesthetic applications.

​

It can be preferred when it is desired to correct the appearance of discolored or worn/broken teeth, to close the interdental spaces, and to change the shape and color of the teeth.
